Study Name: ECZEMA STUDY 2

Therapy Area: Atopic Dermatitis
Gender and Age: Male and female aged 12 and over
MAC is currently running a trial to test a treatment for atopic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis (AD), also known as atopic eczema, is a chronic, inflammatory skin disorder characterised by itchy, dry and flaky skin lesions and frequently causes a general deterioration in quality of life.
The trial is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the trial medication in patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, and will be taken orally, once daily for 12 weeks of the 20 week trial period.
Reasonable travel expenses or transport to the clinic will be provided.
Key Inclusion Criteria:
Diagnosis of chronic atopic dermatitis or atopic eczema for at least 1 year and must have had inadequate response to treatment with topical medications or required the use of oral medications for AD within the past 6 months

Eligible patients will receive a comprehensive health screen and study participation will be in collaboration with the patient’s treating physician.
