Study Name: PSORIASIS TRIAL 1

Therapy Area: Plaque Psoriasis
Gender and Age: Male and Female aged 18 and over
MAC is currently conducting a trial to test a new potential treatment for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. Plaque psoriasis is chronic inflammatory skin disorder and is the most common form of the condition, affecting up to 3% of the general population. It is characterised primarily by red scaly plaques that normally appear on elbows, knees, scalp and lower back, but can appear anywhere on the body.
The purpose of this trial is to measure how safe and effective the trial medication is in treating participants with psoriasis. During the trial, eligible patients will receive either the trial medication, placebo or an approved treatment for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
Reasonable travel expenses or transport to the clinic will be provided.
Key Inclusion Criteria:
Men and women aged ≥18 years
Diagnosis of stable plaque psoriasis >6 months
Key Exclusion Criteria:
Has non-plaque psoriasis
History of serious bacterial, fungal, or viral infections requiring hospitalization within the past 3 months or any infection requiring antibiotic treatment within the past 15 days

Eligible patients will receive a comprehensive health screen and study participation will be in collaboration with the patient’s treating physician.
