Study Name: HEALTHY MALE VOLUNTEERS

Gender and Age: Males aged 18 - 80

Description: 

MAC is currently conducting a new clinical research study for male healthy volunteers. The aim of the study is to assess the safety and tolerability of a new medicine expected to help treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED).

You should not have ED to take part in this study.

The main aims of this study are:

  • To assess the safety and tolerability of the study drug

  • To see how the body absorbs and removes the study drug

  • To assess the effect of the study drug on the body

 

Payment & Visits:

Part A:

Healthy males aged 18 – 59 years

Screening visit, 1 x 3-night residential Stay, Follow up visit

Part B:

Healthy males aged 60 – 80 years

Screening visit, 1 x 3-night residential Stay, Follow up visit

£920

Reimbursement: Part A & B £920

Criteria:

Key Inclusion Criteria:

  • Males aged 18 – 80

  • BMI 18 – 32 (Part A) BMI 18 – 35 (Part B)

  • Must be in good health as determined by medical and psychiatric history, medical examination, ECG and blood tests

Key Exclusion Criteria:

  • Concerns about having injections or having blood taken

  •  Currently using any prescription or non-prescription medications

Eligible patients will receive a comprehensive health screen and study participation will be in collaboration with the patient’s treating physician.
